- At what point in the ceremony do we Tie the Knot?
Anytime, you choose.
Some couples save it until after the ceremony and do it during the reception, along with the speeches or cutting the cake.
Others have it brought to them on a ring pillow before/after exchanging rings.
There is no wrong time for this significant addition to the day.

- Is there any explanation supplied with the knot?
Absolutely YES!
The exquisite hand made knot comes in a beautiful polished wooden box containing words and directions for a traditional (religious) ceremony and a modern (non religious) ceremony.
Along with a parchment certificate which the couple sign and date and a blank brass plaque which is engraved 'Jack and Jill 'Tied the Knot' on **/**/2007'.
